Research on this family provided by Debra Persson. The addition of the birth of a 2nd Jemima in 1781 has raised the probability that the 1st Jemima, born in 1770, died as a child. It must remain conjecture that the Jemima Jefferies who married Thomas Smith in 1790 in Pensford, Somerset is from this Gloucestershire family.
