Thomas and Mary KINSMAN immigrated to USA in 1841 with Johanna b 1832 and Nicholas b 1840. Two more children, Thomas R b 1843 and George b 1848 were born in Wisconsin. (GC) According to Wikipedia Cornish miners were the largest group of immigrants to work the lead mining centre at Mineral Point, Iowa County, Wisconsin. By 1845 half the population of the town was Cornish.

After Sarah died in 1920, Nicholas moved to Los Angeles to live with his daughter.
